Principally Speaking

Welcome,

Strathcona High School has over a hundred years of academic excellence. Our outstanding achievement results, diploma results, and Advanced Placement scores have given us a reputation of being one of the finest schools in Canada. In addition to strong academics Strathcona has a rich tradition of success in Athletics, Fine, Arts, Second Languages, and Student Leadership.

Strathcona is a learning community where exemplary staff works with students and parents to provide an environment in which learning thrives and students are given the skills to become the leaders of the 21st century.

We pride ourselves in our tradition of exceptional academic results and the fact that our students live by the school motto, “Ut Qui Ministrat” (As One Who Serves). At Scona students are challenged to produce excellent work and to immerse themselves in all the school has to offer in the way of clubs, sports, and cultural activities. Students take pride in the fact that they are Scona Lords. Once a Lord, always a Lord.
